The main effects on this film were rain, fireworks, shattered glass, and removing a finger. The firework simulation was an effect we had never done before so we were a little nervous about how it would turn out, but in the end everyone was happy with the result. The amount of effects was not major so we were surprised to be nominated for a Taipei Film Award, but because of all the work we put in, both on-set and in post, we feel the nomination is well deserved.
