The film is based on the 2017 destruction of Otodo-Gbame, a waterfront settlement in Lagos. Working closely with producer Mathew Cerf and cinematographer Leo Purman to create the effects was a fun experience. It was a great collaboration with the on-set team to create foreground debris and portable green screens in the background. We're all happy it was greatly received and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
